Joshua Tree Project

The Joshua Tree Project was established in 2005 as a five-acre site in Joshua Tree, California for the development of experimental art and architecture.

Over the years the site has been part of several art shows including Andrea Zittel's High Desert Test Sites and the Morongo Bases Studio Arts Tours. The site has also hosted many California artists who have installed work on the site including 12 UCLA graduate students, Jeffrey Crussell, Barbara Thompson, Pamela Grau Twena, Nancy Harlan, Richard Bohn and Preston Daniels.

The site has been home for the CUBE project for 3 years as well as the experimental BOB house fashioned after the resident desert tortoise that is named Bob.
